– PRIZE-WINNING HORNET: This 1965 Wolseley Hornet has only covered 31,000 miles since new, meaning that it only needed a respray before becoming a trophy-winning car on the Irish classic scene.
– A FORD SAVED AND RESTORED: With a seized engine and badly-damaged bodywork this Ford 2000 tractor looked ready for the scrapheap; however, it has now been fully rebuilt by Padraig Hally, who lives close to where it spent its working life.
– THE WORLD’S SUPREME SMALL CAR: This month John Byrne takes a look at one of the most innovative and important of all post-war cars, Alec Issigonis’ Morris Minor.
– PORSCHE ASSEMBLY LINE…: We drop into Brian Doody from Co. Galway to see the progress of his restoration of a Porsche 356B coupe.
– HINO CAR MANUFACTURING: Writer Gerry Barrett says it best here when he states “Hino – they build trucks don’t they?” Believe it or not, they also produced cars for many years, in fact from 1953 to 1967, as Gerry outlines.
– FIELD MARSHALL RESTORATION: We take a look at the restoration process behind this Field Marshall Series 2, works number 5504, which has recently returned to the show scene.
– SHOW REPORTS: Event coverage from Thurles Rally, MVCI Curragh Military Vehicle Show, the Gordon Bennett Classic Run, TECU Ladies’ Vintage Tractor Run, Avondhu Valley Vintage Run, 10th Slievenamon Pre-1930 Motorcycle Run and Clonroche Vintage Rally.
– PLUS: All your monthly favourites like Laid to Rust, News & Events, Diary Dates, Your Letters, Pastimes, classifieds and lots, lots more!
