After publishing 167 editions of Irish Vintage Scene, and always getting it on the shops shelves for the on-sale date, due to the current COVID 19 pandemic we have decided that we will cease publishing for at least the next issue of the magazine. So, the May issue that would have been on sale on the 20th of April will now not be published. This was not a decision we have taken lightly, but due to the mass cancellation of events our adverting revenue has taken a massive hit. Currently many newsagents are also closed, so we were unsure of the possibility of distributing the magazine. I assure you we will be back on the shelves once the timing is right, and we would hope that we are only skipping one issue. And, to reassure our subscribers, please note that their subscriptions will be extended to reflect the skipped issue(s), so they will not be left short.
In the meantime, we have put together a small online digital edition looking back through the archives of the magazine. It’s free, and an enjoyable and nostalgic online read of some of our favourite features that you may remember. To access this, just follow the below link.
I want to thank all our readers, advertisers and supporters for their understanding in this unprecedented time. And remember: keep safe and keep your distance.

Managing Editor.
