 MGB at 50

When it was launched the MGB was the car to have. Now, fi fty years later, it’s a must-have sports car for classic car fans. To celebrate the last half-century we meet with members of the MG Enthusiast Club of Ireland, who bring along six very nice Bs for us.

 Green Machines

From the title, some tractor fans may assume this feature is about an American brand, but it’s not; Andrew meets John O’Connor from Co. Kerry, who has a rather unusual and varied collection of small German tractors.

 Derryglad Museum

While Ireland has no national museum for our hobby there are many fabulous family-owned collections that have grown into museums. This month we visit one such museum, the Derryglad Folk, Museum which is a step back in time.

 Bon Chance

Even if you have only a passing interest in motorcycles you will have heard of the Triumph Bonneville, one of the most respected motorcycles out there. This month we take a trip to Limerick to meet Frank Harty, who has a very fi ne example.

 True Grit

The Ford AA Truck is a rare commodity on these shores, but an original Irish one is even rarer. Pat Dwyer has spent over 25 years getting this 1930 model back on the road, and this month he tells us of the ups and downs of the restoration in that time.

 The Collector of Collections

Most people who collect models focus on one kind. Robert Brennan has focused on a number of areas, and so has created a number of collections within his collection.
