The Irish section of the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club have been putting the ingredients together for the past couple of years to make their event at the National Show Centre in Swords, Co. The Annual Classic Bike Autojumble, Show & Sale organised by the Irish Veteran & Vintage Motor Cycle Club, held at Leopardstown Racecourse in Dublin, is one of the premier motorcycling events in Ireland. The 2013 event was held on the 12th of October last, and Ian Shipley brings us these images from the day.
The 2013 edition of the Spirit of Dunboyne, organised by the Dunboyne Motor Club, took place in the Co. Meath town on the 28th and 29th of September last. Ian Shipley was there, camera in hand, to capture these photos from the weekend’s action.
Carrickmacross Vintage Club held their first ever vintage show on Sunday the 8th of September, just outside the town of Carrickmacross in Co. Monaghan. For their first attempt at running a show the Carrick club have to be commended; their hard work paid off and the show was a resounding success, as Shane Cranney’s photos display here.

The RS Owners Club of Ireland held their annual show at the usual venue of Colton Ford, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath on Sunday the 1st of September last. This was Shane Cranney’s first visit to the event, and he wasn’t to be disappointed, as his photos show.

The Irish Vintage Engine & Tractor Association’s annual indoor vintage show took place on Sunday the 13th of October 2013 at the Cavan Equestrian Centre in Ballyhaise. Shane Cranney was on his first visit for Irish Vintage Scene, and he wasn’t disappointed.
The Connacht Veteran & Vintage Motor Club held their annual Pre-War Enthusiast’s road run on the 13th of October 2013 in commemoration of the Western Route of 1901’s Great 1,000-Mile Irish Tour. The byways of North Leitrim came alive with the sound of pre-war cars and motorbikes hailing from a very different era, as Patrick Mullan shows in his photographs.
Incorporating the National Concours Competition 2013, the end-of-year Classic Car Sale, Show & Autojumble took place on the 13th of October last at its usual venue at the National Show Centre beside Dublin Airport. Ian Shipley was there to bring us these photos.
The Charity auction in aid of The Help Emma Beat It fund held on the 10th November as part of the North Galway Vintage & Heritage Clubs Jumble was a huge success with a total of €10,382 been raised on the day for the fund. This year saw the third annual Nobber Vintage Club Ring of Kerry Run take place over the weekend of the 23rd to the 25th of August, with the run itself falling on the Saturday. Not only did Shane Cranney bring us these photos, but also took part himself with his Ferguson 20, so he had a busy weekend of it.
The Shrule & District Vintage Club held its 5th Annual Vintage Rally on June 9th last at Castlehackett Estate, near Tuam in Co. Galway. As usual, the show attracted an impressive collection of vintage and classic cars, tractors and related farm machinery, and Norbert Sheerin brings us these photos from the day.
