Description
The January issue of Irish Vintage Scene is on sale now, and as usual it’s a bumper edition filled with over 100 pages of news, event reports and great features. Our cover car couldn’t look more Christmassy if it tried; this copper-bodied Rolls-Royce Phantom II is nothing short of amazing, and the snow-covered backdrop to our photos is just the icing on the cake, as it were. Elsewhere in the magazine we bring you the unique story of a Mk2 Capri restoration, which has forged a close bond between two families following a tragic turn of events.
Our main tractor feature is a particularly nice one, as it details the restoration of a Zetor 3511 that has been in the same Co. Clare family since it was bought new in 1969. An interesting Ford & Fordson collection from Co. Laois also features, as does the story behind the Ford Thames Trader lorry. Classic motorcycle fans will no doubt be delighted with the subject of this month’s two-wheeled feature; an original Irish Sachs Progress scooter. When was the last time you saw one of those!
Our extensive event coverage includes full reports from both the Stradbally and Fenagh steam rallies, plus the 1st Gerard Murphy Memorial Car Run in Ferns, the Modelmania All-Ireland Diecast Model Show and the Ulster Vintage Commercial Vehicle Club Run, as well as lots more from around the country; you can’t get much more varied than a line-up like that! Don’t miss out; get your January issue of Irish Vintage Scene today in all good newsagents, or click the button on this page to buy online!
