AonInsure.ie Skerries 100 Road Race on the 4th, 5th and 6th July 2013
Work is well under way for the eagerly anticipated road race in North County Dublin.
The Skerries 100 Road Race is the oldest and most prestigious of all national Road Races in Ireland. The event is a magnet for riders who are drawn by its history, real racing atmosphere and racing challenges.
This is the Race event all riders want to compete at and win, they travel from as far away as USA, Australia, Czech Republic, Portugal, France, Italy and the UK.
This year’s event will include top class riders such as William and Michael Dunlop, Andy Farrell, Derek Shiels, Michael Pearson, Jamie Hamilton, Michal Dokoupil, Maria Costello and Michael Sweeney to name but a few…
Ask any true road racing fan to mention their two favourite motorcycle road races and chances are they will reply the Isle of Man TT and the Skerries 100. The event attracts as many spectators as a Gaelic football or Hurling League game and many spectators make the trip from all corners of the world.
Once again we owe thanks to AonInsure.ie for their continued support as title sponsor for this our 68th Skerries 100. This event goes from strength to strength and with race entries flooding in we are confident of a full and robust race card with all races being eagerly contested. Our overall prize fund is once again a staggering €20,000.
