Classic Massey Fergusons don’t come much bigger or more impressive than the imposing 1135. This month Norbert Sheerin has uncovered a real gem for us, as he brings us the story of the nut and bolt restoration of one of these red giants. Indeed, ‘remanufacture’ might be a more accurate term than ‘restoration’, as John Flaherty’s stunning example has had the majority of its components either completely rebuilt or replaced with newly-fabricated items.
