4/4 Time

This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of the Triumph 2000. To mark the occasion, we meet up with Jack Walton of Dublin to chat about his Mk1 and share its incredible tale.

All About Allis

When someone mentions the name “Marshall”, most tractor enthusiasts tend to think of the Field-Marshall tractor, the green (and later orange) single-cylinder two-stroke diesel from the forties and fifties. So, how did the Marshall name come to be displayed on the bonnet of the harvest gold machine on these pages, a tractor with Leyland styling, and Leyland engineering underneath?

Under The Skin

The Heinkel Tourist is a cult classic, and not only in its native Germany either, as this dependable scooter was highly popular in Ireland back in the day.

The Turning Tide

On a bright spring  day in the pleasant surrounds of North County Dublin we met  with Mark Harford and  his son, Callum to chat  about their 1976 Mercedes Benz L306D light tipper truck. It’s a rare sight in these parts, and this fact was confirmed in the massive interest it generated on the day of our shoot.

Models by the Bucket-Load

Michael Hogan from Eyrecourt in Co. Galway is a collector of all things vintage, with an impressive collection of cars and tractors and well as all sorts of memorabilia. However, it was only after a conversation I had with him that I discovered we shared a passion for Spot-On models. Having been collecting these models myself for some time, I just had to call to see Michael’s collection.
