The Features
Rootes Group Rarity Martin Weldon’s Sunbeam Vogue automatic is a serious rarity with a fascinating history, and has had a stint on the silver screen to boot. Czech Point Zetor’s UR1 (Unified Range 1) were the first models from the Czech manufacturer to sell in really great numbers here in Ireland, particularly the three cylinder 3011 and 3511. The 4511 was less popular and is consequently quite scarce now, so when we heard about Christy O’Reilly’s restoration of this 1971 example we jumped at the chance to feature it. Shane Cranney brings us the full story. |

Grande Performer When most are asked to name a classic bike marque they will go through a list starting with the likes of BSA, Harley Davidson and Triumph. T for Two Like the Ford Model T car, the Model TT trucks are truly iconic vehicles. Designed for transporting light to medium loads, they revolutionised the transport industry in the early 1900s. This month, Dan Gallahue, proud owner of one of each model, tells Damien Pollock about his special connection with his trucks and how he plans to take them around Ireland on a 1,000-mile charity run. |

Green Acres Building an effective diorama isn’t about cramming in as many models as you can, but rather is all about the details. Get the little bits right and the overall effect will be fantastic. This is the approach that Darren Burke from Galway applies to his dioramas to great effect, as Tom Heavey tells us this month. |
